Antioxidants in black tea may reduce clogged arteries. It may also help lower the risk of heart attack and cardiovascular disease.
STAVE OFF STROKES
Drinking black or green tea daily may prevent strokes. Specifically, a study showed that people who drank the equivalent of three or more cups of tea each day had an overall 21 percent lower risk of stroke as compared to the subjects who drank less than one cup daily.
The tannins in tea make it a great tenderizer. Marinate meat in strong-brewed black tea for several hours or overnight before roasting or grilling.
Bring water to a boil and let cool to 212° for best results.
