This delicious infusion of apples and spice create a spiced apple chai tea blend that is juicy and sweet like a warm cup of applesauce with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Two heaping teaspoons per 6 oz cup brings out the full flavor of the cardamom, Masala spices, and a crisp apple. As they say, an apple a day... (or maybe it should be a cup of hot apply chai a day...especially if it could be an Apple Chai Latte). Doesn't that sound delish?
Don't know how to make an Apple Chai Latte?
Chai Lattes are a very popular way to enjoy this tea. We'll make this really easy for you. Instead of running around to gather all the ingredients in an Apple Chai Latte, simply brew a cup of our Apple Chai Spice. Then, using your milk frother, whip up some milk to spoon on top. (if you don't have a milk frother, you seriously need one!) Top it off with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
Does Apple Chai tea have caffeine?
Chai tea is made from a combination of black tea, ginger, and other spices. Black tea is considered to have a high level of caffeine, however, it is still lower than your average cup of coffee.
Steep at 212° for 5 minutes.
Ingredients: Black tea, cinnamon bark, ginger root, cardamom, orange peels, cloves, apple pieces, natural apple, and cinnamon flavors.
I do like the apple notes, but for some reason I keep getting overpowering bitter notes from something in the tea at all temps and steeping times. Have mixed it with Samurai Mate and it does help a little bit with muting the bitter notes but still there.
Loose leaf tea flavors are such a personal preference Andrew - great idea on the blend! Try blending the Samurai Spirit Mate with White Ayurvedic Chai...I think you’d enjoy that - it is a customer fave! (And mine too!)
A Harvest Treat!
This is a wonderfully fragrant chai! It tastes amazing too. Like a cider and chai combined. A little honey and milk and you have a cozy and soothing drink!
Thank you Audrey! Great idea with the honey and milk!
It’s similar to teavana but not the same. It’s missing the chocolate notes. That does not mean it’s not good. This is still a high quality tea you can enjoy in the Fall. Was shipped quickly. Thanks
Hi Brenda - If you like more of the chocolate notes, have you tried blending the Samurai Spirit with our Maharaja Oolong Chai? It is a delicious blend that will give you a little more spice and chocolate with cocoa nibs and cinnamon...a personal fave! :)
