Skip the coffee shop and bring café-quality flavor home with this Iced Maple Vanilla Hojicha Latte.

Flavor Profile

Roasted hojicha tea delivers naturally smooth notes of toasted nuts, caramel, and cocoa, while pure maple syrup and a touch of vanilla create a perfectly balanced sweetness. Finished with creamy milk and served over ice, this refreshing latte is a delicious way to enjoy the comforting taste of hojicha any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Tealeavz Hojicha tea
  • 6 oz water (195°F)
  • 4 oz oat milk (or your favorite milk)
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Steep the hojicha in 6 oz of 195°F water for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea leaves and let the tea cool slightly.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  4. Stir the maple syrup and vanilla into the tea until dissolved.
  5. Pour the tea over the ice.
  6. Top with cold oat milk and gently stir.
  7. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon, if desired.

Tealeavz Pro Tip

For an extra-creamy iced latte, chill the brewed hojicha in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before pouring it over fresh ice. This prevents dilution and keeps the rich roasted flavor front and center.
