What is Earl Grey Creme tea?

Earl Grey is one of the most popular black teas around the world. Traditionally, Earl Grey is flavored with oil from the rind of bergamot orange whose flavor is kind of a cross between an orange, lemon, grapefruit, and lime. To avoid a bitter cup of tea, we have blended our black tea with the warm flavors of vanilla and creme, softening the edge of those citrus notes. Earl Grey lovers will enjoy this smooth, easy-to-drink vanilla earl grey black tea hot or iced.

As a loose leaf tea, you'll experience the fuller taste of this exquisite Earl Grey Creme more than from a teabag as the leaves are allowed to fully open and release the flavor. If you're looking for a replacement for your Teavana Earl Grey Creme, you have to try this tea!

Many enjoy Earl Grey Creme tea with a slice of lemon and sugar to bring out the bright flavor and accentuate its deep brown color. Our Tealeavz special blend includes blue cornflowers adding depth and color to our blended tea. This steep pairs well with breakfast, dessert, snacks, or spicy foods such as many curry dishes.

Does Earl Grey tea have caffeine?

In general, Earl Grey tea has a high level of caffeine, similar to other black teas which typically have 14 to 61 mg per cup. However, several factors such as the amount of loose-leaf tea you use and the length of steeping time can also determine the caffeine level in your cup of Earl Grey Creme. Unless you are wanting to stay up late, we don't recommend drinking Earl Grey Creme tea under the moonlight...

How to store Earl Grey Creme

To help your favorite tea stay fresh as long as possible it should be stored in opaque, airtight tea tins in a cool, dark place, away from moisture and other pantry items like coffee and spices that can contaminate the flavor of the tea leaves.

Typically black teas will last longer due to the oxidization of the leaves than delicate green tea. Flavored black teas won't really go "bad", but they will have a shorter life than pure black tea, and they will get stale a bit sooner and lose the potency of the flavor.

CAFFEINE-LEVEL: High

STEEP at 212° for 3-5 minutes.

INGREDIENTS: Black tea, orange peels, blue cornflowers, natural vanilla flavor, natural bergamot flavor, and natural creme flavor.
