What is Ayurvedic tea?

Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest natural and holistic approaches to physical and mental care. Natural treatments combine mostly plant-based products, diet, exercise, and lifestyle to enhance the body and spirit.

The main goal of Ayurveda tea is to help people achieve health, wellness, and vitality in their life. So naturally, Ayurvedic herbal teas are teas are part of the experience. Our loose tea blend helps detoxify and purify the body and enhance health and endurance.

Does it blend well with others?

White Ayurvedic Chai and Samurai Chai Maté was a very popular Teavana white tea blend. It is simply a match made in heaven. No wonder White Ayurvedic Chai and Samurai Chai Mate is one of our best-selling duos!

Samurai Chai white tea has intricate flavors such as chai spice, herbs, and citrus. These flavors enhance the cinnamon, cloves, coconut, and lemongrass of the Ayurvedic chai.

Does White Ayurvedic Chai have caffeine?

Yes, any tea that comes from the Camellia sinensis plant contains caffeine. However, Ayurvedic white tea is a blend with other savory ingredients. This lowers the level of caffeine compared to that of an unblended white tea.

Be aware that the longer you steep tea, the higher the level of caffeine will be in your cup. We recommend brew for no longer than five minutes.

Another tip if you are concerned with caffeine levels is to re-brew the same leaves a second time. The flavor will be a little less intense with a second infusion. Upon a second steep, the caffeine level will also decrease.
