Our White Ayurvedic Chai loose leaf tea takes the delicate flavor of white tea and blends it with cinnamon, coconut, pineapple pieces, natural ginger, cardamom, and cloves to create a complex nose and full-bodied flavor without being too spicy. The aroma releases the zesty notes of lemongrass while the subtle sweetness of the coconut in the blend leaves the alluring essence that ties the blend together.
What is Ayurvedic tea?
Ayurvedic teas are teas used in Ayurvedic (or Ayurveda) medicine, one of the world's oldest medical systems based on a natural and holistic approach to physical and mental health. Ayurvedic treatment combines mostly plant-based products, diet, exercise, and lifestyle.
The main goal of Ayurveda is to help people achieve health, wellness, and vitality in their life. These loose tea blends of various herbs and ingredients help detoxify and purify the body, provide a wealth of health benefits, and enhance health and endurance.

Does White Ayurvedic Chai have caffeine?
Yes, any tea that comes from the Camellia Sinensis plant contains caffeine. However, a blended white tea, such as this Ayurvedic tea which is blended with so many yummy ingredients, contains a low level of caffeine compared to that of an unblended white tea.
The longer you steep the tea, the higher the level of caffeine in your cup. We recommend brew for no longer than five minutes.
Another tip if you are concerned with caffeine levels is to re-brew the same leaves a second time. The flavor will be a little less intense with a second infusion, but the caffeine level is reduced.

It’s similar to teavana but not the same. It’s missing the chocolate notes. That does not mean it’s not good. This is still a high quality tea you can enjoy in the Fall. Was shipped quickly. Thanks
Hi Brenda - If you like more of the chocolate notes, have you tried blending the Samurai Spirit with our Maharaja Oolong Chai? It is a delicious blend that will give you a little more spice and chocolate with cocoa nibs and cinnamon...a personal fave! :)
