THROAT SOOTHER

Size

Looking for a throat coat tea for relief when you're suffering from a sore, irritated, or simply dry throat? A warm and soothing cup of Throat Soother Tea is the exact remedy your sore throat needs.

Tealeavz Throat Soother is an herbal tea for sore throats that blends sweet licorice, calming anise, and fresh raspberry leaves plus a throat coat from the Slippery Elm to help speed the recovery of your scratchy throat. The inner bark of the Slippery elm tree, a tree native to the central and eastern United States, is found in many throat lozenges to relieve coughs and sore throat. Add a little honey for a bit of sweetness, and increase the comforting effect.

Licorice root is a flavorful herb that has been used for thousands of years for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects which can help fight off the illness that causes sore throats. Herbalists commonly use licorice in alternative medicine to treat colds and sore throats. The antimicrobial properties kill bacteria in the throat to help your mucous membranes to heal.

While this tea does not replace medical attention for more serious throat conditions such as strep throat, Throat Soother can be used as a home remedy for the comfort you need.

Masala Chai
Hi Mary Lou, We're disappointed you weren't thrilled with our Masala Chai. It has very similar ingredients to Oprah Chai, but if you are looking for more cinnamon and a bit more sweetness, you should try our Maharaja Chai Oolong. While it is an Oolong tea instead of a black tea, it does have a higher caffeine level like a black tea, and it has all the other ingredients of the Oprah Chai: Spicy Cinnamon, Ginger, Cocoa Nibs, Black Peppercorn, Chicory, Cardamom, Cloves. The Masala Chai does not have the cocoa nibs that give it the sweetness I think you may be missing. We will send you a sample!
Not quite
Hi Jerry - If you're looking for more of a chai flavor, try blending the White Ayurvedic Chai with our Samurai Spirit Chai Maté - a very popular blend! (https://tealeavz.com/products/samurai-chai-mate)
