The Nile River Valley of Egypt produces the finest chamomile flowers in the world. The fertile soil and ideal climate conditions contribute to the development of chamomile flowers with a vibrant aroma. This high-quality chamomile tea truly is the best. Known for its calming properties, is often used to promote sleep and relieve stress.

The delicate yellow flower heads and white petals are picked and slowly dried resulting in a soothing and aromatic tea that is perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a long day. It's a truly immersive experience that transports you to a place of tranquility and serenity.

Whether you enjoy hot or iced chamomile tea, Egyptian chamomile tea is a versatile beverage that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

What does Chamomile taste like?

The dried flowers produce a rich, golden cup of tea with the aroma of freshly cut apples with a mellow, honey-like natural sweetness.

Drinking chamomile tea, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the mellow and soothing taste that resembles a hint of honey. The golden hue of the tea adds to its visual appeal, making it a treat for all your senses.

Some like to enjoy a cup of chamomile tea with honey for a touch of sweetness.

Does Chamomile Make You Sleepy?

Probably the most popular benefit of chamomile tea is the lack of caffeine. It provides a gentle and relaxing experience, making it an ideal choice for unwinding after a long day. Unlike caffeinated beverages, chamomile tea won't disrupt your sleep patterns or cause jitters.

Egyptian Chamomile is best known as a nighttime tea (or a sleepy time tea) because of its ability to promote calmness, relieve stress, and reduce anxiety. Drinking chamomile tea at bedtime may improve your sleep quality.

What are the Benefits of Chamomile Tea?

In addition to its calming and anti-inflammatory properties, chamomile tea offers a range of other benefits. One of the most notable advantages is its ability to aid digestion. If you often experience bloating, gas, or stomach discomfort, a cup of chamomile tea after a meal can help soothe your digestive system and promote healthy gut function.

Since early Egyptian times, chamomile tea leaves have been used for their healing properties and skincare. Today Chamomile continues to be studied to help ease eczema and other mild skin conditions in an ointment form.

The anti-inflammatory properties of chamomile can help reduce redness, irritation, and acne breakouts. It has also been used topically as a natural remedy for soothing skin conditions such as eczema or sunburn.

The natural chemical compounds in chamomile may reduce inflammation, which is your immune system's reaction to fight infection.

Chamomile tea is also known for its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are essential for protecting our cells from damage caused by harmful free radicals. By incorporating chamomile tea into your daily routine, you can support your body's natural defense system.

Studies have also shown that regular consumption of chamomile tea may help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. By incorporating this herbal tea into your daily routine, you can take a proactive step towards maintaining a healthy heart.

Is Chamomile Caffeine-free?

Egyptian Chamomile herbal tea is naturally caffeine free, making it the perfect option as an afternoon or nighttime tea.

How Long to Steep Chamomile Tea

To make loose leaf chamomile tea, we recommend using one teaspoon of tea per eight ounces of water. The recommended chamomile tea temp is 212° for 5-10 minutes. This allows the chamomile flowers to release their natural oils and flavors, creating a golden infusion that is both fragrant and flavorful. If you prefer a stronger taste, steep it for a bit longer.

Once the steeping time is up, remove the tea infuser or strain the tea to remove the loose chamomile flowers. You can enjoy the tea as is or add a touch of honey for a hint of sweetness.

Chamomile sleepytime tea is a wonderful option for those looking for a caffeine-free beverage, especially in the afternoon or before bed. Its calming effects and potential health benefits make it a popular choice for relaxation and promoting a good night's sleep.

So, why not treat yourself to the best chamomile tea brand and experience the wonders of this ancient herbal remedy? Indulge in its soothing properties and let the stresses of the day melt away. Sit back, relax, and savor the delicate flavors of this exceptional tea.

--

It's important to note that while loose chamomile tea is generally safe for most people, it may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. If you have a known allergy to plants in the daisy family, such as ragweed or chrysanthemums, it's best to avoid chamomile tea or consult with a healthcare professional before consuming it.

My nighttime favorite!

This is my new nighttime favorite tea! No caffeine, a delicious, light flavor; I add one teaspoon of honey only. Enough to sweeten, but the flavors in the tea aren’t overpowered.
I’m new to loose leaf teas, to my knowledge, this is my first camomile and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction!
