LAPSANG SOUCHONG CAFFEINE LEVEL: Trace amount

STEEP at 212° for 5 minutes

Summer nights set the mood for a bonfire and the warmth and coziness of our Fireside loose leaf tea blend. Honeybush tea, hazelnut, and cocoa nibs have been blended with aniseed, cinnamon, clove, and orange peel. Apples and rose hips finish it off with a little sweetness while the souchong lapsang and red peppercorns add a hint of smoke. A low level of caffeine makes this smoke tea perfect for when you are relaxing fireside.

What gives Lapsang Souchong tea a smoky taste?

People know Lapsang Souchong tea for its smokey aroma. This is a result of the traditional roasting of the tea leaves over pinewood fires. This process not only gives the tea its distinctive smoky taste. It also adds depth and complexity to the overall flavor profile.

The base of this smokey tea is Honeybush tea, a caffeine-free herbal tea. Blended with Lapsang Souchong black tea adds a smoky flavor and a trace amount of caffeine.

Lapsang Souchong Benefits

This smoky tea is rich in antioxidants, which can help boost the immune system and protect against free radicals. Some studies suggest that tea Lapsang Souchong may also aid in digestion and promote heart health.

Divine!

Lapsang souchong blends are my favorite, I was excited to try this one when I found it. Immediately, the scent is incredible from the package, but once it steeped it created a heavenly aroma that really created a relaxing, almost luxurious environment. The taste is sweet and decadent with a lingering smokiness rather than the strong campfire scent from traditional lapsang souchong. I've already shared it with other tea lovers so they can try it for themselves.

Excellent evening time tea

This is an excellent tea for after dinner or anytime in the evening . Nice balance of spice with bit of smokiness and chai. Just as the tea is named, it reminds me of sitting cozy by a fire

Perfectly cozy

This tea is lush, slightly smoky, and reminiscent of campfire and comfort. It has a slight hint of bourbon in its finish. I discovered new subtle flavors in every sip. The quality of this chai is outstanding, and the perfect balance of spice, fruit, and earthiness is miraculous. It’s my new favorite tea.

Thank you for the wonderful review Janna! Enjoy!
